Dr. Michael Imevbore graduated from The College of Health Sciences at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He did his residency training in Internal Medicine at Unity Health System, Rochester NY. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Imevbore is the founder/CEO of Connecticut Pulmonary Specialists, P.C and Sleep Associates of CT, P.C. Both companies were founded to provide exceptional care for his patients with pulmonary and sleep disorders.
Dr. Imevbore knows firsthand what it is like to live with breathing problems, having suffered from severe asthma as a child. He says whatever the reason for his patients’ lung problems; he is committed to helping them. Dr. Imevbore enjoys spending time with his family and watching Soccer.
Dr. Amy Korwin grew up in Connecticut and completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University. She went to the University of Pennsylvania for medical school, where she remained for her Internal Medicine internship and residency, as well as an additional Chief Resident year.
She received specialty training as a fellow in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Yale University.
Amy's clinical areas of interest include General Pulmonary, Adult, and Pediatric Sleep disorders, with a specific focus on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
In her time outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
Brittney received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Fairfield University in 2014. She worked as a travel intensive care nurse at multiple hospitals in Connecticut, including John Dempsey UCONN Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
While working full-time in the ICU, she was also earning her Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Southern University, where she graduated with High Honors in 2020.
After gaining many years of critical care experience as a clinical nurse, Brittney joined Connecticut Pulmonary Specialists in January of 2021.
She sees patients with all types of respiratory conditions however she has taken a special interest in allergic asthma and sleep, and medical patients.
When she is not taking care of patients at CT Pulmonary Specialists, Brittney enjoys riding and competing horses, camping, and spending time with her husband, son, and their two dogs.
